Benchmarking Service

This online service provides easy access to data for multiple years for hundreds of key performance indicators for thousands of colleges and universities and is available for an annual subscription fee of $850 to AGB-member institutions. The data and formats featured in these reports highlight "big picture" financial and operational information boards need to fulfill their fiduciary and governance responsibilities.

IPEDS Data

The primary source of data for this service is the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the largest and most complete higher education database. AGB's Benchmarking Service includes IPEDS data on institutional characteristics, employees by position and salaries, finance, enrollment, and financial aid for all public and independent non-profit degree granting, U.S. higher education institutions.

IPEDS data can be cumbersome, but AGB's Benchmarking Service makes it easy to use:

• It's fast, it's graphic, and it's the best way to get comparative data appropriate for boards and administrators
• Select from up to ten years of IPEDS data as well as selected data from other sources--all ready for your use in one database
• Get the most current data as soon as they are available
