NPR Tribute to Bob O'Neil

A tribute was paid to AGB’s very own Bob O’Neil on NPR this morning. Bob is a senior fellow at AGB and was instrumental in writing the public and independent versions of Effective Governing Boards and the soon-to-be-published Board Basic on illustrative bylaws. Yesterday he was one of the presenters for an AGB webinar for new trustees, the second time this year he has done so. He has been a frequent presenter at the National Conference, writer for Trusteeship, and contributor to many other successful projects at AGB.

Bob is retiring after 20 years as head of the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Speech.  We are lucky to have him here at AGB as a senior fellow -- his wisdom, leadership, and collegiality are a great benefit to those around him.
