Responsible Investing Roundtable: Luncheon and Workshop

January 26, 2016

12:15–4:00 pm (PT)

Increasing numbers of institutional investors around the world are implementing some sort of responsible investing practice. In the U.S., the movement for fossil fuel divestment is just the tip of an iceberg that’s showing no signs of melting.

This workshop will provide an overview of the full spectrum of responsible-investing practices; examine the ways institutions have been responding to calls for divestment and other forms of responsible investment; and discuss governance practices that will enable boards to prudently fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities, engage meaningfully on stakeholder interests, and thoughtfully navigate the evolving landscape of responsible investing going forward.

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the 2016 Foundation Leadership Forum. Participation in the Forum is not necessary; however, individuals wishing to attend both may use this link to register simultaneously.

Preliminary schedule, subject to change.
