2011 AGB National Conference on Trusteeship

An average of 800 individuals typically attend the National Conference on Trusteeship, which is held annually in the spring. It features governance-related issues and challenges in several program formats to encourage networking:

-Plenary addresses provide insight into timely issues
-Panel discussions offer perspectives from a variety of experts
-Small-group sessions focus on specific best practices

The National Conference also hosts the Workshop for Board Professionals, which will take place April 1-3, 2011.

The 2011 National Conference on Trusteeship and Workshop for Board Professionals will take place at the Los Angeles Hyatt Regency at Century Plaza. The cutoff date for reservations is March 7, 2011 and the AGB group rate is $199 per night. Early-bird rate for each AGB member (before February 4): $795
Member rate (after February 4): $875
Nonmembers (early-bird rate does not apply): $995

Group rate (three or more people from one member institution registering at the same time):
Early-bird rate (before February 4): $755 per person
Member group rate (after February 4): $805 per person

Preconference workshops (registration for the National Conference on Trusteeship is not mandatory for those who wish only to attend a preconference workshop):
Workshop for Board Professionals: $385
All day workshops: $335
Half day workshops: $225

Refund policy:
All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing. AGB will issue a full refund if written notification of cancellation is postmarked by February 25, 2011. AGB is unable to issue refunds for attendees who cancel after this date. If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome in your place at no additional charge. AGB will issue refunds after the conference. AGB is not responsible for any cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, or hotels.

From Los Angeles International Airport (approximately 10 miles)
Take Century Boulevard East to the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405) North and exit at Santa Monica Boulevard. Turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard, proceed 2 miles, and turn right onto Avenue of the Stars. Our West Los Angeles CA hotel is located 2 blocks ahead, on the right.

From East
Take Interstate 10 West past downtown Los Angeles. Exit at Overland Avenue and turn right. Proceed 1 mile to Pico and turn right. Proceed 1 mile to Avenue of the Stars and turn left.

From North
Take Highway 101 South to I-405 South. Exit I-405 onto Santa Monica Boulevard and turn left. Turn right onto Avenue of the Stars. Our Los Angeles CA luxury hotel is located 2 blocks ahead, on the right.

From South
Take Interstate 5 North to I-405. Follow I-405 North to Santa Monica Boulevard and turn right. Proceed 2 miles to Avenue of the Stars and turn right. The hotel is located 2 blocks ahead, on the right.
