Leadership for change is more important than ever. In this demanding environment, the structure of governance itself should not be an additional risk factor to higher education. Yet, too often it is. This panel discussion will focus on the report and recommendations of AGB's National Commission on College and University Board Governance and on how these pitfalls can be avoided and higher education's mission advanced.

HBCU Governance and Leadership Institute for Board Chairs and Presidents

Part of the Initiative for Strengthening HBCU Governance and Leadership, this premier institute allows board chairs and presidents to join with a network of peers for an intensive three-day working session to develop more effective working relationships and the structure to craft a shared agenda.

2015 Workshop for Board Professionals

This annual workshop, held in conjunction with the National Conference on Trusteeship, is open to board professionals in higher education: those individuals who staff boards of trustees in roles such as assistant to the president, general counsel, secretary of the college, assistant secretary of the board, vice president, and chief of staff.

Leadership Institute for Board Leaders and Executives of Public University Systems
