Audio Conference: Board Conflict of Interest

This audio conference event will examine AGB's core recommendations for board conflict of interest policies and practices. Participants will learn recommended approaches for board management of conflicts of interest. 

Some of the issues that will be addressed include:
1. Has your board clearly defined what constitutes a conflict of interest?
2. What is the process for board member disclosure of all pertinent conflicts?
3. How does your board review disclosures and determine whether a conflict exists?

During the presentation, presenters Richard Legon, president of AGB, and Martin Michaelson, partner at Hogan & Hartson, will field questions from participants to clarify their understanding of these important issues in higher education governance.
