Education policy issues at the federal level have significant implications for how colleges and universities provide student assistance, undergo accreditation, conduct research, and interact with K-12 education and address calls for higher education accountability. In addition, the U.S. Department of Education has positioned itself as a more aggressive player in education policy: from a proposed college/university ratings system, to matters related to the Higher Education Act reauthorization, and an emphasis on increased degree attainment.
What does future education policy foretell? And what should board members know about federal issues that will inform board discussions? This webinar for presidents, board leaders, government relations leaders, and others will focus on pertinent updates that will affect all of higher education and the need for board members to be more broadly aware of the challenges ahead.
Ample time will be reserved for participants to pose questions.
