Committee on Directors

Written for public college and university foundation boards, this booklet serves as an overview of this important committee and reinforces that it must perform with excellence if the board is to fulfill its responsibilities with distinction. "The committee on directors is charged with determining the most effective composition of the board. It then develops practices and recommends strategies and policies that attract, orient, train, organize, motivate, and assess the performance of directors."
