In this issue of Trusteeship, our last for 2015, we open with The Pick and the Process: Leading a Presidential Search in the Digital Age, a review of a recent search process at Spelman College, by Celeste Watkins-Hayes. The Rev. William J. Byron, S.J., then examines the process from another angle in his piece, In the Body Academic, Executive Search Resembles Organ Transplant Surgery. Continuing with the theme of search and transition, we included reflections by Kina Mallard, president of Reinhardt University, and David W. Miles and Larry Zimpleman of Drake University’s board, on Inaugural Transitions. Switching gears, we move on to an examination of Looking Under the Hood 2.0: How Institutions Are Using the AGB/NACUBO Student Aid Tool, by Don Hossler and David B. Johnson. We close out the issue and the year with an overview of Public Policy: Similar Issues, Similar Challenges, a snapshot of U.S. and Canadian public policy by Emily M. Dickens and Lane Trotter. The staff at Trusteeship wishes you happy holidays. We’ll see you in the new year!
