Celebrating 100 years strengthening governance.
The year 2021 marks an exceptional milestone in the history of AGB—the association was officially founded 100 years ago. The association’s development has evolved to reflect the changes in higher education’s governance system over the past 100 years. As AGB celebrates 100 years of service to boards—public and private, institutional and system, governing and advisory, and also including institutionally related foundation boards—now is a good time to look at how the association has changed with the times.
