Charlie Shorter specializes in campus development, infrastructure, master planning, and public-private partnerships. Charlie is a trustee for the City University of New York (CUNY) where he serves on the Real Estate and Facilities Committee.
Charlie also works as a Senior Real Estate Advisor for Davis Brody Bond, an architecture and planning firm that recently participated in the design and planning of the new African American History museum in Washington, DC. In his advisory role, Charlie brings over 30 years of experience providing council and services to developers, public agencies, community organizations, arts and cultural institutions, and colleges and universities. Based in New York City, he has worked throughout the United States and internationally. His expertise is in urban revitalization projects, strategic planning, market and financial analysis, developer solicitation / selection, and economic impact studies.
