Dr. Sheryl Berman has 33 years of experience in higher education, specializing in healthcare education, as dean, executive director of a Health Sciences Institute and vice president of Academic and Student Affairs. Her research areas include HIV and immune suppression, the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract and its role in breast cancer, and the role of probiotics in immune health. Dr. Berman has published several peer reviewed papers, trade journal articles, and numerous chapters in three books on Probiotics and Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Berman has lectured nationally on Immunizations, Alternative and Complementary laboratory testing, the Human Microbiome and Probiotics.
Dr. Berman earned her BA, MA, and PhD from Wayne State University.
