Americans Say Higher Education Is Going in the Wrong Direction
Many Americans (seven in ten) believe that higher education in the United States is going in the wrong direction, according to the Pew Research Center in a recent survey.1
The survey of 3,455 adults conducted in late September revealed that many Americans across major demographics share the negative sentiment of U.S. higher education, which is up from 56 percent who had a negative view in 2020.
