Peer-to-Peer Conversations

Share challenges, share successes.

Join colleagues for virtual Peer-to-Peer Conversations
on the most pressing topics of today.

Recognizing that peer exchange is more important now than ever before in promoting strategic governance, AGB is pleased to introduce Peer-to-Peer Conversations. Each designed for a specific role, these small group discussions are highly engaging, purely attendee-driven online forums where you can connect with your counterparts at other AGB member institutions to discuss the latest challenges confronting the world of higher education.

An AGB senior fellow or staff member will be on hand to help kick-start the meeting and provide structure and input where desired. However, where the conversation goes is entirely up to you and your fellow attendees.

The role of the board professional has been compared to a delicate and complex dance. The ability to think quickly and strategically while keeping form and grace is critical to your success. Intentionally acting to promote an agenda based on knowledge, best practices, and what is in the best interest of your institution or foundation will assist your president/CEO and board to lead with confidence. Making connections with your peers will help you to navigate the governance space with flexibility and support, which will lead to successful outcomes. AGB would like to welcome you to join TANGO, the new series of board professional intentional networking peer-to-peer sessions. Each session will provide four takeaways to help you to Think, Act, and Navigate Governance Outcomes. Let’s TANGO!
