Striking the Balance Seminar 3: Forging an Institution-Foundation Partnership that Mitigates Risk, Fosters Alignment, and Advances Strategic Priorities

Leadership transitions, the need to manage risk, efforts to grow fundraising, and evolving institutional needs may all be catalysts to assess and recalibrate institution-foundation partnerships.  This session provides an overview of the institution-foundation MOU and other policies and practices that can help institutions and foundations allow for greater success by establishing a partnership that appropriately maintains foundation board independence while supporting close strategic alignment and collaboration.
