Quick Tips

Need a quick answer or some help accessing AGB resources? The AGB Concierge is available to help (by email or chat) during normal business hours, but we’ve gathered some of the most common inquiries and solutions here for 24/7/365 access.

Log into AGB.org

  • Log into AGB.org using the “Login” button at the top right of the website. Your username is the email used to register your membership. If you haven’t logged in before, your password is BOOKMARKAGB (in all caps, no space). You will be prompted to change it. If you need assistance, contact concierge@AGB.org.
  • Bookmark AGB.org for easy reference. Browsers have different methods for bookmarking a page, but most have a link right in the toolbar at the top of your web browser page.
  • Allow AGB.org to remember your password when prompted. This will make logging in the next time even easier since many of our resources are only available to members.

Update my profile information on my personalized home page

Your AGB home page is personalized based on your role, institution type or foundation, and the committees on which you serve. This is where you will find new resources and events recommended for your role and institution type or foundation. Here’s how:

  • Access your personal library from the “My Library” button at top right of any web page when logged into the site, or from your Personal Homepage.
  • Simply click the “Add to Your Library” button on any resource page and it will be added to your personal library for easy reference.

Troubleshoot AGB email issues (board members and higher education leaders)

Email is the primary channel AGB uses to inform you of resources, programs, and tools. If you are not receiving emails, you should first check with the board professional who manages your AGB membership to ensure that you are included on the roster, and that your email is correct. If you do not know who your board professional is, contact concierge@agb.org via email or via the chat function on the AGB website.

  • Want less email? Different topics? Once you receive an email from AGB, you can customize the content and frequency of messages by clicking the “Manage preferences” link at the bottom of any AGB email.

If you are on the membership roster and your email is correct, you may need to take a few additional steps to ensure that AGB emails are delivered to your inbox.

  • Add the @AGB.org domain to your email client address book. This tells the inbox that it should expect to receive emails coming from that address.
  • Move any emails from @AGB.org found in the spam/junk folder back to the inbox and mark them as trusted.
  • Open and click links in emails you do receive from AGB. This tells the inbox to trust emails coming from @AGB.org. If you don’t engage with AGB emails at least once per quarter, we will only send you CEO updates and Trusteeship emails.
