Jenifer LG Holland, Interim Director, AGB Consulting

About

As interim director for consulting at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB), Jenifer works closely with governing boards and chief executives of colleges and universities, providing them with the services they need to think more strategically, strengthen capacity, and ultimately lead with intentionality, mission, and clarity on behalf of the institutions they serve.

Prior to joining AGB in this capacity, Jenifer served governing boards and executive leaders for eight years at BoardSource, most recently as Associate Vice President of the Consulting and Learning Practice. In that role, she oversaw a six-member team and client service delivery via relationships with more than one hundred associated consultants. Jenifer also contributed thought leadership to the organization through public speaking, writing, and contributions to cutting-edge initiatives such as The Power of Possibility, a campaign and resource hub designed to assist leaders in thinking about long-term durable partnerships. Over the course of her three decades in the social sector, Jenifer has offered leadership and team development, strategy, financial sustainability and expert governance support to help leaders achieve social purpose and social change at BoardSource, The Finance Project, Public/Private Ventures, and JLG Consulting. A seasoned program designer, Jenifer has developed peer cohort groups focused on governance, race equity, and social entrepreneurship. People who have worked closely with Jenifer characterize her as a listener, bridge-builder, and as a go-getter that knows how to have fun.
