Rebuilding Trust in Higher Education: What It Means for Governing Boards

Higher education faces a growing lack of trust driven by concerns related to cost, value, transparency, and accountability. Two recent reports, a Yale University analysis on declining trust and a Strada Education Foundation study on college pricing transparency, argue that institutions will rebuild trust through greater rigor, transparency, affordability, and clearer communication.
