Amy Hilbelink serves as the campus president, Pittsburgh / Online at South College where she is responsible for overall online admissions, student support, and program development for a rapidly growing online presence.

Previously, she served as the executive director for strategic partner initiatives within the AMEA region for Laureate International Education, Inc. Hilbelink’s responsibilities included advising and consulting with academic campus partners on innovative approaches to hybrid, blended, and fully online learning solutions to ensure positive student outcomes. Additionally, she worked collaboratively with Monash South Africa in designing and shepherding a number of new programs for accreditation approval.

Hilbelink participated in the Institute for Engaged Leadership for Online Learning, sponsored by the Online Learning Consortium (formerly SLOAN-C). She has been an Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, and has experience working with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Professional Credentials

Amy obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and her master’s degree in biology and doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
