This was the third meeting for the group of more than fifty leaders from the business, nonprofit, government, and higher education sectors, led by co-chairs Michael Crow, Robert King, and Linda Gooden. “This was a critical stage for our work, and the council members brought their best ideas for what the nation needs and how to overcome barriers to these ambitious goals,” said Lisa Foss, executive director of the HESA project. The fourth and final council meeting will be held on May 17, 2024. AGB will invite commentary on the Council’s recommendations prior to releasing the final report this summer.
